The Witch before the Wicked

I'll be brief. Once a strange and silly witch befriends a strange looking, incredibly intelligent, GorillaMonkey of a creature. These two pretty much do everything together and are inseperate for years. Then one day man invades the west side of OZ where she lives and creates havoc. The witch tries her best in stopping it, comes close to dying, her Gorrilla Monkey buddy comes to the rescue and saves her. Unfortunately he gets killed in the process. Once man reign finally ends they're reign in Oz the witch after a long while recovers from her injuries and tries concocting a formula together to recreate the friend she losses. Smaller, blue skinned, winged primates are the failed results after countless of tries. After time she grew tired of trying and more angry at man for her misery. This is why she is so mad once lil Dorothy comes along.
