I love Frank Miller and Midy Newells rendition of the Catwoman, so I sort of pieced them with some thoughts I had. Selina is as a lonely, boring, dry, sarcastic, and very deeply depressed person when the mask is off. I think the depression spawned from the numerous amounts of grief she experienced as a youngling. The Suicide of her Mother and then the Alcoholism and Death of her Father. After that point I think that shes been hoping to escape those memories by trying to become someone else, someone she is not. So she acted up afterwards and the small time she spent in the orphanage leads to her being placed in a juvenile dentition hall. The hard time she spent there by almost being killed by a money grubbing administrator lead to her getting revenge, stealing money from the Hall and running out of it not to long after. So in old Gotham she decided to be part of a gang of streets thieves lead by a Ruthless leader. The gangs leader wasnt fair profit wise So she ran away to a life of child prostitution. More and more crap happens after that but I wrote that to wright this.. all these past troubles seemed to have evolved into this street-wise, cunning, seductive, extremely tuff, sneaky, masked anti-heroin we know as CatWoman. So In a way it was the Death of her parents that gave birth to the life of Catwoman. I believe shes mentally comfortable in the dark tights aswell. This is what she is because its all she knows. My thoughts on Ms.Kyle whats yours?
Oh yeah Selinas mother had a deep fascination with cats as well. My Selina cares for cats but loved her mother so much that she draped herself in what she loved most...The catsuit was the result !hehe!
This has to be my favorite Catwoman personality(s). Selina always came off as one of Batman's few sane enemies. But, your's seems to dance right on the edge of insane. I, also, like how she is diminutive as a civilian. In most media she make men faint by twirling her hair.
Eh. I'm used to the "intelligent lady turned thief who may stop to save someone's life" angle, but I like this one too. I like to keep these things open to different interpretations.
