Three of the greatest heroes of all time... and Captain America.
I'm just kidding, Captain America is also a really, REALLY big hero. I never really got into him, but he's still cool. Except for the little wings on his hat.
The other three, however, are among my favorites (Superboy, oddly enough, is my absolute favorite). Batman is immensely cool, Superman has his moments, and Spiderman is as full of awesome as you can get.
The rhythm and flow within this composition is just bananas. You've created a massively compelling image here with just the energy and rhythm alone. Add to that the fact that it's beautifully designed and drawn. Very well done!
Really cool! The blocky retro look makes it really look like a professional print that someone could hang on their wall. I think Batman's cape is my favorite part of all — it just has this epic look to it. And the perspective on Spidey's pose is amazing! You're really talented. Oh, and it's so cute that you described them using nicknames
The only thing I have to criticize is that I wish I could see part of Cap's face, but you drew the rest of him perfectly, so it's not a huge complaint
I really can't get over the composition. That neat little curve that their formation makes! Maybe it's a weird thing to like, but it's what strikes me the most.
Also, this is probably totally unintentional, but I like how Spider-man is sort of 'tagging along' with the more grown up heroes. Being so young is what sets Pete apart from the others, but he can still keep up with the big boys. :]
Lovin' that iconic vibe you were going for; you pulled it off!! The muted colours are great, and even though their features are gone to symbolize the more broad, um... can I say mask-like? characters. That is to say, there isn't much emotion with them drawn like this. But you still get that connection with them, because we know their stories!
I guess it'd kind of be like seeing the President on TIMES magazine-- iconic, right? But then in other magazines you get aspects of his home life and backstory, and you relate. So even when you see him as an icon, you still recognize the person behind that iconic image, and connect however you may.
Also, that box in the center just ties everything together and everything is great. *__*
