I guess my Eddie would be a combo of both the original and Ultimates version. A bully that is a complete ass and the dude that has all the deep down problems caused from the death of his parents and what he thinks of as a betrayal of Peter Parkers trust. My venom is basically the one that I love most. The musclular, Wild ass, Brute of a Beast. I always thought this one was the scariest. My thoughts what yours?

Although I dislike the toe-toed Venom concept, I like your take on it.

Aside from the design, what I loved about Eddie was his inferiority complex, caused by his father. When Parker lost his uncle, he wanted to avenge him by helping others avoid similar tragedies. Eddie on the other hand just took out his anger on everyone he believed humiliated him (except his father of course, he's untouchable after all) or humiliated others in the same way.

Not a huge Venom fan but your dynamic style really suits him. That Eddie Brock design in wonderful. You could ditch his double-bird (not saying you should) and his attitude would still come through the same. That contemptuous sneer says it all!

Ive been undecided on the EGO series so far, but I have to raise an objection here. Venom isnt massive because of the suit, Eddie Brock is a giant powerfully muscled dude even without the suit and he is deep down a descent man he just really hates Spiderman... a lot. I dont agree with the modern skinny intrinsically evil Eddie, it just doesnt ring true to Venom's design. That said I really do like the style in which this art is rendered,
